Bellingdon Belles

The Bellingdon Belles are a group of ladies from Bellingdon who realised that the village hall was being under-used for community events and decided to do something about it. That was in 2012 and since then we have run approximately four events per year.

The events have been wide ranging the emphasis is always on including everyone. At times the ages of people attending the events has been from 2yrs to 85yrs. The emphasis is on fun and building community spirit in the village.

Join us on our Facebook page for the latest information on our events.

We have run whist drives, barn dances, beetle drives, games evenings, quiz nights and race nights. The events are usually catered with good home cooked food or with Fish and Chips sourced from Bubbles Fish and Chips in Bellingdon Road, Chesham.

The format of the evening is usually the same in that you provide your own drinks and snacks as well as glasses. Everything else is provided for you.

The events usually create a small profit and that money is being put towards the cost of upgrading the village hall kitchen. The upgraded kitchen will be an asset for the village and a benefit to all hiring the hall.
