Silent auction for the 2026 fête

Returning for the 2026 Bellingdon and Asheridge Village Fête, we’re running a silent auction where you can bid for some incredible items (via email to fetesilentauction@gmail.com or at the fête itself).

We’re lucky enough to have been given these amazing donations for you to bid on:

Taskmaster tickets

Two audience tickets to the recording of any episode of Taskmaster Series 23 in September 2026. Filming will take place at BBC Studio Works, Wood Lane, London W12. Audience members must be 18 or over. Tickets courtesy of Avalon UK.

Masked Singer tickets

Two audience tickets to see the recording of the Masked Singer in September 2026. Filming will take place at ITV Studios at Bovingdon. Tickets courtesy of ITV Studios.  

A morning of trout fly fishing at the members-only Latimer Park Trout Lake with instruction. Tackle and picnic lunch included. Bids start at £50.

You can place your bids via email now: fetesilentauction@gmail.com or in person at the raffle stall at the fête on Saturday 27th June. When we close the bidding at 4pm on the day, the highest bid for each item wins!

There’s nothing to pay unless you win your item, so just let us know how much you would like to bid.

Our raffle has some brilliant prizes this year, ranging from a luxury food hamper, a £100 Specsavers voucher, a magnum of champage and cases of wine!

Of course, you’ll still be able to buy your tickets in the usual way at the fête itself, or during our village doorknock during the week beginning 15th June.

Fete 2026: Save the date!

The Bellingdon & Asheridge Village Fete is just weeks away now – please put Saturday 27th June, 12:30-4:30pm in your diaries now!

We’re aiming for it to be an even better day out for the whole family, with more traditional game stalls – including tombola, coconut shy, lucky dip, splat the rat and a range of new ones.

Plus we have our regular fun dog show and classic cars display. And, of course, a barbecue, bar, ice creams, teas and cakes and – new for this year – a popcorn stall!

New car park now complete

~ BAACA

The village hall’s brand new car park is now complete, with car parking spaces all marked out.

The project was funded through funds raised at community events like the village fete, along with a generous donation from the National Lottery Community Fund.

There is now significantly increased parking capacity, which should help alleviate the shortages that sometimes led to cars parked along the road during the busiest times.
