Community pub night | 18th August 6:30-10:30

Come and enjoy some home cooked food, a selection of drinks, traditional pub games (table tennis, pool, darts etc) and the opportunity to meet with friends and neighbours in an informal setting.

Bring the kids and take advantage of the light evenings as they can play in the playground.

Everyone is welcome, as always, as are offers of help on the evening either setting up, doing a shift on the bar or clearing up at the end.

Also, we’re on the lookout for someone to organise the pub night in September as Don will be away. Full training provided! Please email

Recycling centre removal

We’ve received notification from the Joint Waste Team of Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe councils that they will be removing the household recycling centre from the village hall car park on 17th August.

As a wide range of recyclables are now collected at the kerb, the team are reducing the number of standalone facilities.

The nearest recycling facilities will be at Water Meadow car park or Cameron Road in Chesham or the main household waste centre on Waterside.

Once the recycling facilities are removed, we would ask residents to please either take advantage of the kerbside service or take their waste to one of the above facilities.

The clothing bank will remain, for the time being until the committee makes a decision about its future.
