On 1 April your council will change. The new Buckinghamshire Council will replace all five of the district and county councils in Buckinghamshire, and over the coming weeks and months you’ll start to see some changes as you come across the new look council.
There will be 147 councillors elected to Buckinghamshire Council. Elections for the new council will take place on 7 May 2020. Until these newly elected councillors take up their posts, your current elected members from the five existing councils will continue to serve your communities.
For regular news and updates, follow us on Twitter and Facebook @BucksCouncil or find out more on our website at www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk.

The Hort Soc AGM and Spring Flower Show will be on Friday 3rd April from 7:30pm (setup for Spring Flower Show entries from 7pm). There’s also the annual plant sale on Saturday 9th May at the village hall from 10am-12 noon.
In addition the newly combined Chesham Horticultural Society and Bellingdon, Asheridge & District Horticultural Society (name for the new society yet to be agreed) are opening their Trading Hut, Plot 3, Cameron Road Allotments, again.
The Trading Hut will be open every Saturday from 7th March 10 am to 11.30 am until further notice. It can be opened at other times by prior appointment with Adrian on 07718609719.
Please see the Hort Soc pages on bellingdon.com for a list of what will be for sale, or speak to Tracey.

We’re already planning this year’s fete, fingers crossed for good weather! (Although maybe not quite as hot as last year…)
Every year we have a number of external stalls – which in past years have sold everything from handmade gifts to doggy ice creams. If you would like a stall at this year’s fete please complete the booking form which can be found here: https://forms.gle/e2kftGjf1ySDSg3k6 and we’ll be in touch.
We’re also on the look out for businesses that would like to advertise in our programme, which is delivered to every household in Bellingdon & Asheridge plus given to all fete attendees.
Or perhaps you’d like to donate a raffle prize?
We aim to give businesses (and individuals) that support the fete as much publicity as possible in the lead up to the big day, via our digital and print channels – including tagging your business on facebook, in twitter posts and namechecking in our programme plus over the tannoy on the day.
For any (or all) of the above please do contact us on fete@bellingdon.com or speak to one of the organisers.
