I’ve uploaded the service for St John’s Bellingdon for Sunday 3rd May onto Youtube. This week we’re starting with our series on the Beatitudes and this weeks readings are:

Acts 2 42:end

Matthew 5:1-12

As before those with internet linked televisions you should be able to watch it there and find it by searching but only after 09.45 tomorrow when it goes public (and live) but the link should work or you can look for the Great Chesham YouTube channel!

The plan is as before – to follow the service at 10.00 on Sunday – but of course you can be flexible!

Also you might be interested in the virtual Prom Praise concert this evening at 7.30pm called “a festival of hope”.

The annual All Souls Prom Praise at the Royal Albert Hall would have been this evening, were it not for lockdown. The theme they felt led to choose months ago for this evening was ‘to the ends of the earth’ – little did they know then God’s plans for that leading!

  • Trading Hut, Plot 3, Cameron Road Allotments, Potato & Onion Sales – 9am-Noon on 15/02, 22/02 & 29/02/2020 and then every Sat from 7th March until further notice.
  • AGM and Spring Show, Friday 3rd April, start time 7:30pm (set up for Spring Show entries is 7pm) 
  • Plant Sale – Bellingdon Village Hall – Saturday 9th May 10-12noon
  • Plant Sale – Steps of United Reform Church, Chesham 9am-noon 16th May 2020
  • 20th June Coach Trip to RHS Wisley, including specialist plant show. Pick up points bus stop outside St Columbus Church, Chesham 8.15am, Emmanuel Church 8.20am and Caffe Neros Chesham 8.30am. £15 per person (plus £6.50 if you require cream tea).   • Early Summer Show – Trinity Baptist Church, Chesham. 4th July 2020. Open to public from 2pm
  • Annual Show –  Bellingdon Village Hall. 5th September 2020. Open to the public 2pm.
