Don’t forget it’s pub night tonight – and the BBQ is back for (possibly, weather depending ) its final appearance of the year!
Football for the U14s starts at 5pm sharp, the bbq will be on and ready to cook from about 6:30. There will be drinks and nibbles available in the bar too, as well as lots of pub games – pool, darts, cards and table tennis.
AND the opportunity to chat with your neighbours…what more could you want?

We’re pleased to welcome back Forró Fest UK to the hall and grounds over the August Bank Holiday weekend, bringing a little bit of Brazilian sunshine, food and music to our village.

We’re super excited to announce that EMC Dance will be starting a variety of dance classes at the hall from September and will be running a half day summer camp on 9th August as an introduction. Well the sun shone (a little too much) and we unfortunately had no choice but to cancel the fun dog show in the interests of our canine friends’ welfare. However the rest of the fete went ahead and we are extremely grateful to all the helpers who turned out despite the heat. Who would’ve thought it would be too hot in this green and pleasant land of ours?

In view of the high temperatures predicted, the Bellingdon & Asheridge Community Association Committee has decided to cancel the dog show planned for tomorrow, Saturday 29th June 2019. We hope you understand the rationale behind this decision, as animal welfare is our priority.
The rest of the fête is going ahead as planned, so please do slap on some suncream and hat and come along to support us: we have the Hemel Hempstead band, beer festival, pimms and soft drinks, BBQ, teas and cakes, ice creams, the annual tug-o-war and kids’ fancy dress competitions plus Brazilian dancing demonstrations, lots of stalls and activities for kids and adults – face painting (12:30-2:30 only), a kids’ area, coconut shy, beat the goalie, bouncy castle and roundabout plus much more!
