St John’s Service 26th April 2020

I’ve uploaded the service for St John’s Bellingdon for Sunday 26th April onto Youtube. This week we’re again looking at Jesus’ appearance to the disciples – his time on the road to Emmaus and Margaret Gingell is speaking on this.

The plan is as before – to follow the service at 10.00 on Sunday – but of course you can be flexible!

  • AGM and Spring Show, Friday 3rd April, start time 7:30pm (set up for Spring Show entries is 7pm) 
  • Plant Sale – Bellingdon Village Hall – Saturday 9th May 10-12noon
  • Plant Sale – Steps of United Reform Church, Chesham 9am-noon 16th May 2020
  • 20th June Coach Trip to RHS Wisley, including specialist plant show. Pick up points bus stop outside St Columbus Church, Chesham 8.15am, Emmanuel Church 8.20am and Caffe Neros Chesham 8.30am. £15 per person (plus £6.50 if you require cream tea). Residential Burglaries

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a series of burglaries in Chesham, Lee Common, Bellingdon and Iver.

Between 17th April and the 21st April there have been burglaries in Vale Road, Chesham, Chesham Road, Bellingdon, Asheridge Road, Chesham, Village Road, Lee Common and Langley Park Road, Iver. These offences occurred in the early hours of the morning whilst the occupants were in bed. Entry was gained via forcing/smashing rear window and doors. Electrical items, handbags and bank cards were stolen.

Did you see anything suspicious or do you have any information? Do you have any CCTV, dash cam footage or Ring doorbell footage that could help us identify the offender?
